On Tuesday 2nd October the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay made a private visit to the Tolbooth museum. Their Royal Highnesses were given a tour of the museum and were impressed with the quality and quantity of artefacts on display; many stimulating searching questions. Due to the fact that the museum is run entirely by volunteers the Duke and Duchess went out of their way to speak to as many of the 'red fleeced' volunteers as possible. The whole visit was conducted in a very informal and relaxed atmosphere and we hope that the Royal couple enjoyed their visit as much as we did in hosting this engagement
