On Saturday 7th March 2015 another milestone occured for the Stonehaven Tolbooth Association, the charity that now runs the local museum. We hosted our first wedding! Indeed we suspect that this might be the first wedding ever to be held at the Tolbooth.
Victoria Black and Charlie Barrow were married by the local Registar, Cressida Coates, in a ceremony conducted before 25 invited guests. Apart from the uniqueness of the setting it must be one of the few locations in Scotland where the anvil features in the ceremony. The Tolbooth volunteers wish the newly weds every happiness for the future. Thank you for choosing the museum for such a significant day in your lives.
